Grant Writing Coordinator - .5 FTE (20 hours / week) position
Upland Hills Health is seeking a Grant Writing Coordinator ( .5 FTE (20 hours / week) ) who will research and manage grant opportunities, write grant applications, and respond to secured grants in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
Research and investigate grant opportunities.
Write grant applications and manage submissions.
Coordinate grant management program and report to the Director of Human Resources.
Work closely with internal and external partners to provide updates throughout the grant periods.
Maintain organization and meet strict deadlines related to grant opportunities.
Qualifications
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with hospital team members, management, community leaders, and constituents.
Ability to analyze data for data‑driven decisions.
Creative, resourceful relationship builder, self‑directed, flexible, and adaptable.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
Financial acumen and strategic planning skills.
Strong computer skills, including MS Office, MS Teams, and grant‑management software.
Bachelor’s degree (preferred fields : philanthropy, business management, marketing, communications, fundraising management, or non‑profit management).
Past grant‑writing experience; knowledge of the health‑care industry is beneficial.
Certification as a CFRE or ACFRE desirable.
