Job Title : Material Handler Job Description

The position involves packing, auditing, picking, and moving items across the dock and loading them. Experience with a sit-down forklift is required at a minimum. Experience with standup, reach, and cherry picker forklifts is preferred. Candidates should be comfortable operating equipment in this environment and willing to learn quickly to be trained on additional machinery. Comfort with heights is necessary, as the cherry picker reaches up to 28 feet.

Responsibilities

• Pack, audit, and pick items for movement across the dock.
• Load and unload materials efficiently.
• Operate a sit-down forklift and potentially other types of forklifts such as standup, reach, and cherry picker.
• Ensure safety and accuracy in material handling tasks.
• Adapt to manual and equipment-driven tasks.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Northlake, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.25 - $19.75 / hr.
