Charter Senior Living of Woodbridge is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) who wants to lead clinical care while still having meaningful interaction with residents and staff - not just pass meds and chart.

This role is ideal for a nurse who enjoys mentoring caregivers, coordinating care, and maintaining high clinical standards in a calm assisted living environment.

What You'll Do
Clinical Oversight

• Oversee resident care and nursing services
• Complete assessments and medication administration
• Monitor health changes and coordinate physician communication
• Ensure compliance with CT assisted living regulations

Team Leadership

• Supervise and coach nursing staff and aides
• Evaluate staff competency and provide guidance
• Support a positive and accountable care team culture

Quality & Compliance

• Maintain documentation accuracy
• Support quality assurance initiatives
• Participate in on-call and Manager-on-Duty rotation

This is a leadership role - visible, supportive, and engaged with both residents and staff daily.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license - Connecticut
• Experience working with older adults preferred
• Leadership and delegation skills
• Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving ability
• Ability to assist with transfers and lift up to 50 lbs
