The Opportunity

As part of our continued success, Landau Associates is seeking an experienced sediment remediation engineer to support our expanding sediment investigation and remediation team. The ideal candidate will bring 15+ years of consulting experience, with deep expertise in investigation and engineering for both public and private-sector clients. This position will be based in one of our offices in Oregon or Washington. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative, project-team environment—someone who can both support colleagues and effectively engage their support to meet the diverse needs of our projects. Qualified candidates will have a background in the following :

• Knowledge and experience designing and implementing investigations and remedial strategies under governing regional guidelines (Washington SMS, Oregon DEQ, Sediment Management Standards / Sediment Cleanup User's Manual, Army Corps of Engineers’ Dredge Materials Management Program, etc.)
• Experience with integrating in-water and upland investigation and remedial strategies, including permitting requirements, agency and stakeholder negotiations, source control, site restoration / redevelopment, and land use considerations, etc.
• Experience with planning and managing investigations and remedial design programs under state and Federal regulations (e.g., CERCLA, etc.) in the Pacific Northwest

What We Offer

Landau Associates offers an excellent compensation and benefits package in an environment that promotes personal growth and professional advancement. The salary range for this position is $145,000 – $200,000. Compensation is based on a variety of factors, including education, experience, performance, location, and internal equity.
