NEW Medical Laboratory Technologist / Medical Laboratory Technician Opportunity
Location: Charlotte, NC
Schedule: Night Shift – 12-Hour Shifts Available

Performs laboratory analysis on patient specimens to provide clinical information used in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease. Responsible for maintaining quality, efficiency, and safety while performing assigned technical duties in a fast-paced clinical laboratory environment.

• Perform laboratory testing in accordance with established procedures and quality assurance standards

• Follow all laboratory policies and regulatory guidelines

• Document and take corrective action for any non-conforming events

• Prepare reagents and ensure adequate supplies for testing procedures

• Manage inventory to reduce departmental waste and expenses

• Use clinical judgment to prioritize workload and troubleshoot testing issues

• Fast-paced clinical laboratory setting

• Exposure to biohazardous materials and chemical, fire, and mechanical hazards

• Requires standing, walking, bending, stretching, and lifting

  • Light lifting up to 20 lbs

  • Moderate lifting up to 50 lbs

Education & Certification Requirements:

• Associate’s Degree required

• MLT registry eligible (or equivalent) required

• MLT (ASCP) or equivalent certification required within one year of hire

• Will consider candidates certified as:

  • Medical Technologist (MT)

  • Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
