Civil Engineer – Land Development

We are looking for a mid-level Civil Engineer to join our land development team in Nashville. This role is perfect for someone with a few years of experience in site design and civil engineering who wants to take on more responsibility while continuing to grow. You’ll work on residential, commercial, and municipal projects, helping bring designs from concept to reality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare site development drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D.

• Assist with grading, drainage, utilities, and stormwater design.

• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and local agencies for permits and approvals.

• Conduct quantity take-offs and support project cost estimates.

• Review and update plans based on feedback from senior engineers or clients.

• Support construction administration as needed, including occasional site visits.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE) from an accredited program.

• 2–5 years of experience in land development or civil/site design projects.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Knowledge of grading, drainage, utilities, and stormwater management.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.

• EIT certification preferred; working toward PE a plus.
