For nearly half a century, this company has been a leader in the metals industry. With their ability to cater to diverse sectors, they have continually grown and expanded their state-of-the-art manufacturing footprint in North America. Currently, due to that growth, they are looking to add automation experts to their northwest Ohio facility on off shifts.

Duties and responsibilities of the Controls Engineer include :

Programming, debugging, and troubleshooting plant automation

Integrating and updating automation and controls systems for the plant

Improving processes through upgrades and changes to automation

Assisting with the installation of automation equipment in the facility

Improving the reliability of automation in facility

Assisting with the training of automation system maintenance and operation

Requirements for the Controls Engineer position include :

Previous automation and controls and other experience in a manufacturing facility

Experience integrating, debugging, and programming automated equipment (PLCs, etc.) in manufacturing

Ability to work off shift

Hands-on mentality
