About The Position

Job Title : Surgical Technologist

License : Certified surgical technologist

Certifications : BLS required, approved pharmacology course or successful achievement in medications exam.

Must-Have : Desire to work within an Operating Room setting.

Description :

Qualified candidates will function under the direct supervision of a registered nurse.

Candidate will assist in nursing care and the preparation of surgical patients.

Duties will include performing routine and delegated responsibilities according to hospital and departmental standards and policies.

Candidate will perform technical duties related to scrub personnel.

Responsibilities include precise and efficient responses to all situations and assisting with departmental work as assigned.

Surgical technologists play a vital role in creating and maintaining a sterile surgical room.

They will ensure that surgical equipment is functioning properly and safely.

Additionally, they will assist surgeons during surgical procedures.

Candidates must arrive within 30 minutes of receiving a call.
