The Town of Halifax is now accepting applications for the position of Animal Inspector. This position is responsible for inspecting all farm animals and the premises where such animals are kept and deals with quarantines of animals including cats and dogs, in addition to other duties such as quarantines of animals with a contagious disease.
This is a part-time, as needed and on-call, non-union position and is not eligible for benefits.
As a condition of employment, the successful candidate must complete and pass a background check (CORI).
Pay rate: $290.75 per month (Stipend)
