Water Resources Engineer – Boston, MA

A respected civil engineering firm in the Boston area is seeking a Water Resources Engineer to join its growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work on impactful municipal, infrastructure, and land development projects throughout New England.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze stormwater management systems, drainage, and flood mitigation solutions
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling (H&H) for municipal and private-sector projects
• Prepare drainage reports, calculations, and permit applications
• Support site development, roadway, and utility projects with water resources design
• Coordinate with project managers, clients, and regulatory agencies
• Assist with construction administration and technical reviews

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
• 3+ years of water resources or stormwater engineering experience
• Proficiency with HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, HydroCAD, and/or SWMM
• Experience with Massachusetts permitting and DEP regulations preferred
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• EIT or PE preferred
