We’re hiring a Security Specialist for our Corporate HQ in Columbia, MO and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to grow with us, bring energy and drive to their work, and help us build the future of construction. EquipmentShare is searching for a Security Specialist for our corporate office in Columbia, MO to help us keep our rental facilities secure.

Primary Responsibilities

• Tend to video surveillance for entirety of shift

• Be able to communicate with law enforcement authorities and team members if there are security breaches

• Maintain logs and spreadsheets for management

• Provide back-up service to the Customer Experience team

• Exhibit excellent decision making skills while monitoring locations

• Maintain professionalism while working with internal and external customers

Skills & Qualifications

• Must have high attention to detail and observation skills

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to perform multiple activities at the same time

• Ability to deal calmly with emergency situations

• Must be computer savvy and comfortable with multiple computer programs and set-ups

• Prior surveillance experience a plus

• Applicants should be honest, responsible, reliable, alert, and curious.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Education or Experience required.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and work on a computer.
