- Provide accurate interpretation between Mandarin and English for technical discussions, meetings, and training sessions in the manufacturing, mechanical engineering, and robotics domains.
- Assist in bridging language gaps between Mandarin-speaking team members and English-speaking counterparts to ensure smooth collaboration and understanding.
- Work closely with project teams to convey technical information, specifications, and instructions accurately.
- Support communication during 12-hour shifts from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am, adhering to a 2-2-3 schedule (2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on).
- Fluent in Mandarin and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
- Background in manufacturing, mechanical engineering, or robotics to facilitate precise interpretation of technical terms and concepts.
- Proven experience as an interpreter in technical and engineering settings.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts and adhere to a 2-2-3 schedule throughout the project duration.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, adaptability, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Bachelor's degree in language studies, engineering, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience as an interpreter in manufacturing or engineering environments is highly desirable.
- Certification in interpretation or language studies is a plus.
