What do Camp Counselors do?
Assist in planning, supervising, and implementing camp programs in accordance with guidelines from American Camping Association (ACA)Provide quality care and supervision to children (visual, proactive, interactive)Provide a safe environment for all children to thriveTrack attendance, ensure a valid membership is on file, and children are released to caretakersGuide behaviors using positive methods, keeping in mind each child's individual needsAssist in supervising activities and lesson plansEnsure the program is delivering Healthy Eating and Physical Activity (HEPA) standardsSet up and cleanup of the program area including vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, trash removal, etcProvide exceptional customer service and foster connections with children and familiesOur Commitment to Belonging
