Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist (Cath Lab Tech)

Job Details

A Cardiovascular Cath Lab Technologist works in a Cardiac Cath lab and performs very complex procedures, including stent implants, cardiac pacemakers and defibrillators and other tests to diagnose heart disease. They take emergency calls and participate in saving the lives of those who are having a heart attack. Cath Lab Technicians are vital team members who assist doctors during invasive cardiovascular procedures such as angioplasty, cardiac catheterization, and electrophysiology. Cath Lab Tech's generally work in a hospital setting.

Education/Requirements:

• High School education is required, some states also require the completion of a certificate program.
• Completion of EKG course
• ACLS Certification is preferred but not always required.

***Monday - Friday 7am-4:30pm
