Adjunct Dental Assisting Instructor

Note: The PCI Chicopee, MA campus will be moving to Springfield, MA later this year, 2025. Candidates who apply for openings in Chicopee, MA need to be willing to transfer to Springfield, MA.

Dental Assisting Instructors are responsible for providing quality instruction to students through well prepared classes, relevant assignments, fair assessment of learning, clear documentation of student progress, and support of the academic success for all students.

No teaching experience is required; training provided.

Position Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years experience in the dental assisting field required
• Must have Massachusetts Dental Assisting License
• DANB Certified (Certified Dental Assistant) and CPR certifications required if living in Connecticut; preferred if living in Massachusetts and will be required to obtain once hired
• High School diploma or GED required; minimum of a Diploma from a dental assisting program preferred
• Ability to use common software programs (MS Word/Excel/Outlook etc.)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Great interpersonal skills
