About the Position

AlliedTravelCareers is working with Medix to find a qualified CT Tech in Minnesota!

Medix is currently partnering with a client facility to fill an exciting travel contract opportunity for an experienced CT Technologist . This position offers the chance to work in a challenging and rewarding environment, utilizing your skills to provide high-quality care to a diverse patient population.

As a CT Technologist, you will perform high-quality CT and Radiological examinations on patients of all ages, addressing and responding to their individual needs appropriately. You will be an essential part of the imaging team at a rural hospital that handles stabilization but is not a trauma center.

Facility Type : Hospital, inpatient

Start Date : January 5, 2026

Length of Assignment : 13 week contract

Schedule : Night shift : Friday 6pm-630am, Saturday 6pm-630am, Sunday 6pm-630am covering 40 hours / week

State License needed : CT Technologist in Minnesota

Pay : Competitive pay rates and possible stipends will be discussed in detail with your Medix recruiter.

Shimadzu portable and x-ray with Konica DR

Siemens Definition 128 slice CT Scanner

EPIC EHR

Volume :

X-ray : 5-10 per night, mostly chest

CT : around 10 per shift, averaging 20 minutes per scan

Responsibilities :

Perform high-quality CT and Radiological examinations on patients of all ages, addressing and responding to their individual needs appropriately.

Conduct Full-body CT Scans with and without contrast.

Perform X-ray procedures, including abdomen, chest, and fluoroscopic exams.

Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.

Maintain accurate patient records and images within the EPIC EHR system.

Requirements

Active State License / Certification as a CT Technologist in Minnesota

Relevant professional certification (e.g., ARRT).

Prior experience performing full-body CT scans with and without contrast.

Experience with general X-ray procedures (abdomen, chest, fluoroscopic).

Experience utilizing EPIC EHR is preferred.

Ability to work the required Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights.

Ability to work with a patient population including all ages.
