Substitute Teacher

POSITION : Substitute Teacher

SALARY : Beginning at $125 per day

Daily pay rates for certified substitutes are as follows :

• Days 1-30 : $125 per day
• Days 31-60 : $140 per day
• Day 61 and beyond : $220 per day

Please note : The count of days worked resets at the beginning of each school year for pay rate purposes.

To further support you, substitutes (certified and classified) who complete five days of work during the school year will be eligible for reimbursement of the following expenses :

Important : Substitutes must initiate the reimbursement process directly.

QUALIFICATIONS :

In accordance with State law, the Rossford Board of Education requires a criminal background check through the Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation (BCII) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) records for each applicant the Superintendent recommends for employment.
