We are seeking a skilled and proactive Azure Cloud Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and supporting Azure-based data services, ensuring adherence to database and storage best practices, and delivering robust operational support for cloud infrastructure and data platforms.

responsibilities :

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, deploy, and manage Azure data services including Azure SQL Database, Cosmos DB, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Optimize data storage, access, and performance across distributed systems.
• Experience of integrating Azure data services with Azure Databricks
• Collaborate with data engineering and application teams to ensure optimal data ingestion, transformation, and storage strategies.
• Database Best Practices :
• Define and enforce standards for database design, indexing, partitioning, and query optimization.
• Implement backup, recovery, and high availability strategies.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and privacy policies.
• Operational Support :
• Monitor and troubleshoot Azure infrastructure and data services using tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
• Automate routine tasks using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and ARM templates.
• Maintain clear documentation of architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.
