• Experience and hands-on exposure to laboratory instruments

Description :

The position involves alternating shifts between day and evening hours Monday through Friday.

Clinical laboratory scientists are required to be flexible with their shifts.

Candidates must be flexible regarding rotation of day / evening shifts.

Holidays are required as they fall, as scheduled.

Weekends are not required.

On-call duties are not required.

Candidates may be required to float within the department.

Independent work is expected in this role.

The successful candidate should possess relevant experience and hands-on exposure to all instruments used in a clinical lab setting.

The position may involve dealing with a diverse patient population, ranging from neonates to geriatrics.

Strong skills in a variety of laboratory procedures and tests are essential.

The ability to properly handle specimen collection, preparation, and transport is crucial.

Quality assurance and adherence to proper clinical protocols are necessary components of the job.
