As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment.   • What You'll Do :
  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the logistics and distribution location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entry and exit points for personnel and vehicles, checking for proper identification and documentation as required by site procedures.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and / or suspicious activities according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
  • Support access control measures to help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas within the logistics and distribution facility.
  • Work closely with site management and other team members to provide a security-related presence throughout the location and assist in maintaining order and operational flow.
  • Minimum Requirements :
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
