We have been farming our vineyards since 1984 and are a real working winery, growing and producing over 20 estate grown varietals within certified sustainable facilities.

We are located right next to our Four Diamond, 90 room, boutique hotel Ponte Vineyard Inn. We are surrounded by 300 acres of mature vineyards and views of rolling hills. Job Summary:

Ponte Winery is looking for a Maintenance Technician II to ensure the winery property is presented with qualified and safety standards that exceed that guest’s expectations. In this position you will be asked to perform major construction projects and upgrades to the property as well as minor repairs, maintenance, and upkeep tasks. All work will be done under the direction of the Facilities Manager.

Compensation: $23.00-$25.00 hourly DOE

Schedule:

• The ability to work weekends + holidays is required

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greet guests with a smile and respond quickly to requests in a friendly and courteous manner
• Maintain entire property keeping it in a pristine and presentable manner
• Perform major construction projects, per company needs, on property under the direction of the Facilities Manager
• Perform minor repairs and upkeep on property under the direction of the Facilities Manager
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Drive company vehicles as needed to move equipment, materials, wine, etc.
• Any other duties as assigned by your Manager.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• A minimum of 3 years experience in Facility Maintenance or Construction.
• Qualified candidates will have experience in trades work such as: Drywall Repair, Painting, Carpentry, Tile, Masonry, Plumbing, Electrical, & HVAC
• Be familiar with safe practices in use of hand tools and power tools
• Attention to details & quality driven.
• Ability to work as a team player.
• Must be able to complete tasks effectively, accurately & in a timely manner.
• Carries good work ethics, is polite/respectful to associates and guests.
• Exhibits integrity (honesty and truthfulness).
• Forklift training a plus.
• Always maintains a positive attitude.
• Ability to prioritize work in order of importance.
• Ability to work in high and low temperatures.
• Must be able to lift 75 lbs. regularly.
• Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
