At The Reserves Network, our success is built on people and service. We’re seeking a Staffing Specialist who values organization, collaboration, and delivering a positive experience for candidates, employees, and internal teams.
What You’ll Do
As our Staffing Specialist, you’ll serve as a key point of contact for applicants and employees and play an essential role in supporting daily branch operations. This position blends customer service, administrative support, and project-based work to ensure a seamless candidate experience. Responsibilities include:
- Answering and directing incoming phone calls; greeting and assisting branch visitors
- Providing administrative support and maintaining accurate records in BOLD/Avionte and other systems
- Assisting payroll with timecards, adjustments, and related documentation
- Running talent audits and supporting compliance initiatives as directed
- Supporting candidate onboarding, including onboarding documents, pay cards, E-Verify, and drug testing
- Preparing and formatting resumes and Synopsis Resumes for client submission
- Assisting with investigations related to injuries or complaints in coordination with the Risk Department
- Supporting social media content, newsletters, sourcing efforts, and recruiting initiatives
- Assisting with branch events, projects, and operational improvement initiatives
- Creating and maintaining a positive working environment for clients, talent, co-workers, and applicants
Requirements
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
- Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
- Comfortable handling confidential and sensitive information with discretion
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team
- Strong customer service mindset with a focus on providing a positive candidate experience
- Experience with administrative support, data entry, or office coordination preferred
- Familiarity with resume formatting, onboarding documentation, and compliance-related paperwork is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability to quickly learn new systems
