About the Position:

Under the general supervision of the Manager of Respiratory Therapy and operating according to the Respiratory Therapy Department‘s policies and procedures, the EKG Technician provides a wide range of medical equipment and supplies for patients and staff. This position administers complex respiratory tests to patients in order to deliver appropriate care. Patients have an average length of stay between 3 and 5 days. You will see a wide variety of patient diagnoses including stroke, cardiac, TBI, total knee, total hip, post-surgical, etc. The number one priority is educating the patient and their family on the new condition and the treatment plan. Then make a wise decision on where the patient goes from the hospital.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist from an accredited program
• Open to New Grads and Experienced Therapists
• Must be detail-oriented but also able to see the big picture
• Excellent communication skills across all levels
• Serve as a liaison with internal and external customers
• Collaborative, team-building personality style
