Job Summary : The Programmer / Analyst will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications using SQL Server, C#, VB.NET, API coding, and the Microsoft technology stack. Experience with AI coding tools is recommended. The ideal candidate will have experience in these areas and a proven track record of successful projects. This job will be on-site in our Battery Park NYC office. Candidate will work closely with both technical and operational management to analyze requirements and deliver robust and scalable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and maintain software applications using SQL Server, C#, VB.NET, and other Microsoft technologies.

Work within SQL Server Management Studio to create and manage tables, stored procedures, views, scripts, etc.

Develop and consume APIs to integrate with third-party systems and services.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices and industry standards.

Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure the continuous improvement of our software solutions.

Contribute to the development of project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management.

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on SQL Server, C#, VB.NET, and API coding.

Proficiency in SQL Server and SSMS, including tables, stored procedures.

Expertise in C# and VB.NET programming languages.

Experience with API development and integration (RESTful and / or SOAP).

Solid understanding of the Microsoft technology stack (e.g., .NET Framework, .NET Core, Visual Studio, Azure).

Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., Angular, React) is a plus.

Experience in a financial systems environment is a plus

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
