Job Description

IaaS Systems and Storage & Engineering (ISSE) team is part of the Operations & Infrastructure technology organization. Distributed Compute engineering (DCE) is part of ISSE and Linux engineering is part of DCE. Our vision, mission and purpose are summarized as following :

Essential Functions :

• System Management : Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of Unix and Linux systems to support business applications.
• GPFS Configuration and Management : Expertise in managing, configuring, and deploying IBM's GPFS file system
• GPU as a Service and High-Performance Compute Platform Support : Expertise in deploying, managing, and optimizing GPU as a Service (GaaS) and high-performance compute platforms to support advanced computational workloads
• Collaboration : Work cross-functionally with network engineers and other IT professionals to ensure seamless integration and operation of systems.
• Automation : Develop and maintain automation workflows and scripts to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
• Documentation : Write comprehensive technical design and build documentation, ensuring clear guidelines and processes for the team.
• Team and Independent Work : Highly motivated, excellent team player, capable of working independently, with strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities to resolve complex issues and mentor junior staff.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY : The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 143,200.00 to 207,800.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
