Role : Senior Mechanical Engineer

Lead and manage the design of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems while mentoring engineering staff and coordinating multi-discipline project efforts across teams.

Requirements :

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering required
• 5-8+ years of experience in mechanical building systems within a consulting engineering environment
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required (Maryland or eligible via reciprocity)
• Working knowledge of Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD
• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems design for new construction and renovations
• Ability to develop and review design approaches, methodologies, and calculations
• Experience preparing and coordinating drawings, specifications, and technical documents
• QA / QC review experience to ensure quality and accuracy
• Proven ability to mentor and provide technical guidance to engineering staff
• Experience with construction administration including site visits, RFIs, and shop drawing reviews
• Knowledge of codes, standards, and quality control procedures
• Active or obtainable security clearance
• Must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer without sponsorship now or in the future
