[job_card.job_description]Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements Provide detailed variance analysis versus budget and prior periods Support forecasting and budgeting activities Develop reports for management to support operational decision-making Perform cost accounting reconciliations , including standard vs. actual cost analysis Maintain and analyze BOMs, routings, labor, and overhead rates Reconcile WIP, raw materials, and finished goods inventory Analyze inventory variances , scrap, usage, and production efficiency Support physical inventory counts and cycle counts Assist with standard cost updates and annual cost roll Partner with Operations, Production, Supply Chain, and Procurement Support continuous improvement initiatives for accounting processes Assist with ERP implementation, Sage Intacct Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years of accounting experience, with manufacturing / cost accounting required Strong knowledge of GAAP Advanced proficiency in Excel Experience with ERP systems (Sage Intacct, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar) Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills Experience in label, printing, packaging, or industrial manufacturing Experience with standard costing environments Cost Accounting & Inventory Analysis Financial Close & Reporting Variance Analysis Manufacturing Operations Support Process Improvement Mindset High Attention to Detail Strong Time Management & Organization

Position Summary
Abbott Label is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to support our manufacturing operations. This role will report directly to the Controller and play a critical part in cost accounting, financial close, and financial reporting . The ideal candidate will have strong manufacturing accounting experience, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally with operations and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Month-End Close & General Accounting
- Prepare and post journal entries accurately and timely
- Perform account reconciliations for balance sheet and P&L accounts
- Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
- Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation
Financial Reporting & Analysis
Cost Accounting & Inventory
