TITLE : Claim Processor

LOCATION : Bloomfield, New Jersey

EXPERIENCE : Data Processing

EDUCATION : High School diploma or equivalent required

REPORTS TO : Manager Financial Trade Analysis

CLASSIFICATION : Full-Time, Nonexempt

Highlighted Job Responsibilities :

  • Claim processing

Obtain and save deduction backup

  • Forward claims to responsible parties throughout the organization
  • Update claim notes in CHRM
  • Subtotal and pivot backup by brand / activity
  • Research deduction details against policies and planners
  • Clear approved deductions through the Channel Revenue Management system
  • Maintain ownership of assigned accounts by researching items throughout the organization and with offshore partners as needed
  • Update CHRM account notes for each assigned account
  • Claim denials
  • Deny claims in line with our agreed to policies at each account

  • File denials at each account following individual customer requirements
  • Join monthly calls with customers for account reconciliation
  • Offer maintenance
  • Add monies to offers where approved and as needed for claim processing

  • Partner with brokers and Trade and Promotions Coordinator to identify offers needed
  • Follow up with RSM's and Marketing Managers on offer issues
  • Other duties as assigned by management
  • Skill Set Required :

  • Self-starter who has the ability to work with little supervision
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills and time management
  • Very good oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to escalate issues and prioritize as needed
  • Experience with Oracle preferred
  • Experience in coding and processing preferred
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel
