Plant Services Supervisor

The primary duties and responsibilities of Plant Services Supervisor consist of, but not limited to :

• Supervision of 15-20 janitorial hourly employees.
• Achieving safety and training goals.
• Project management.
• Work with and supervising vendors.
• Special projects.
• Overseeing janitorial services at the Groton, Kings Highway, B793, and New London sites.
• Cleaning equipment
• Carpentry services
• Sign shop services
• Painting services
• Hazmat services
• Development and implementation of process improvements
• Utilization of VMI programs
• Performance of preparation and takedown of Christening Ceremonies, special events, road sweeper operations.
• If needed, willing to participate in an alternative schedule during snow operations, snow removal and de-icing operations
• Working overtime as required to support organizational tasks
• Ability to interface with all levels of management and union leadership.
