[job_card.job_description]A proven track record of 3+ years in a Lead or Manager role, successfully guiding engineering teams through development life cycles. Expertise in people leadership, mentoring, hiring, and managing performance. Deep experience with web application architecture and E-commerce platforms, particularly Magento 2 Technical fluency in modern stacks such as PHP, Node.js, and Vue.js (or similar experience with C# or Go Experience leveraging cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS or Azure Strong background in database technologies like SQL

Location : Tinley Park, IL (Hybrid—2 days on-site required)

We are seeking a forward-thinking Software Engineering Manager to lead our established and growing digital team. This is a unique opportunity to directly influence the technical roadmap for our mission-critical web applications and e-commerce experience.

- Executive Visibility & Influence : This role reports directly to the Vice President, giving you a clear voice in technical strategy and organizational decision-making from day one.
- Lead a High-Performing Team : You will manage and mentor an established, large team of 12 talented engineers, focusing on their growth and the successful delivery of complex projects.
- Architectural Ownership : Take charge of the architectural runway and strategic direction for our public-facing web applications and foundational E-Commerce platform (built on Magento). You will be an architect, a strategist, and a process driver.
- Focus on Leadership, Not Coding : We need your management expertise. Your daily work will center on code reviews, resource management, technical debt reduction, and strategic planning— not hands-on feature development.
- Stability and Legacy : This is a key backfill position for a retiring leader, offering exceptional job security and the chance to build upon a solid foundation while driving a new phase of modernization and digital transformation.
