RN Registered Nurse - Cath Lab

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab
Location: Rochester, NY
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 10-hour days, Monday-Friday (7 AM - 5:30 PM); call requirements 8-10 shifts/month
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care and support for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
• Monitor and assess patient condition pre- and post-procedure, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Administer medications and provide patient education related to cardiac procedures and recovery.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety protocols.

Requirements:

• Must have prior experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab.
• Strong critical thinking and clinical skills in a high-stress environment.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
