• Support specimen collection efforts and prepare samples for analysis as required.
• Keep detailed documentation of all procedures, mentor new staff or students, and help uphold the highest standards of lab quality.
• Maintain a tidy and safe workspace, while following all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied healthcare degree; ASCP/AMT certification preparation preferred.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS), to be obtained within one year of hire.
• Maintain certification throughout employment.
