They aim for short wait times while providing care for acute illnesses and injuries such as heart attacks, strokes, and severe trauma. Belton Regional Medical Center is designated as a Level III Certified Trauma Center and a Level III Stroke Center by Missouri's Department of Health and Senior Services, demonstrating their expertise in quickly treating critical injuries and providing comprehensive stroke care. The medical center takes its signature brand of health and wellness beyond the hospital s campus. Partnerships with local and national organizations put the hospital at the forefront of popular community activities. All are part of an effort to educate our community about optimal health and wellness and to be there for them and their families in their greatest hour of need. Job Summary :
Belton Regional Medical Center is searching for an emergency medicine physician for their Level III Trauma Center in Belton, Missouri.
Qualified Candidates :
- Board certified / board eligible in emergency medicine (ABEM or AOBEM). Will also consider FP / IM board-certified physicians with two (2) years of emergency medicine experience.
- 30-hour physician coverage Monday - Friday; 10 and 12-hour shifts in the emergency department.
- 24 hours of physician coverage Saturday-Sunday
- 24 hours of APP coverage 7 days per week in the emergency department.
- 31,000 annual emergency room patient visits in a 17-bed (7 fast track chairs), Level III Trauma Center.
- ACLS, ATLS & PALS required.
- Ability to obtain Missouri medical licensure
- ABPS Physicians welcome to apply for consideration.
