Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry - $2,071 per week in Phoenix, AZ

Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty : Surgical Acute - Telemetry Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 12 Hour Nights Hours per Shift : 12 hours Experience : Minimum of 2 years License : Active RN License Certifications : BLS, ACLS Must-Have : Level 1 Trauma experience Description : The Registered Nurse will work in a Surgical Acute Telemetry unit. This position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in a telemetry setting. Candidates must have experience with Level 1 Trauma patients. The nurse will be responsible for maintaining a sterile field during procedures. Dysrhythmia exam must be passed prior to acceptance; there are two attempts allowed. Travelers are expected to have their own vehicles. Nurses must have natural hair color and no facial piercings. Men are required to be clean-shaven for fit testing. A pass / fail exam will occur on Day 1 of orientation, including skills related to Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes. The nurse will work with various patient diagnoses including transplants, trauma, and orthopedic cases. Weekend requirements include working a total of 4 shifts over a 4-week period. Holidays will be worked as part of the permanent staff rotation. Floating to other units may be required as needed. Cancellation policy allows for shifts to be canceled. The charting system utilized is Cerner. The nurse will work closely with a charge nurse who does not take patients. Nurse aides will be available on the unit. This is an acute care division nursing position.
