High proficiency in designing, deploying, and managing integrated enterprise physical and technical security systems, with comprehensive understanding of ICT infrastructure, hosting arrangements, and networks. Proven record of successful physical security system implementations / migrations in complex, time?sensitive environments. High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to meet project deadlines and deliverables. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with internal and external parties.
We are seeking an experienced Security Engineer to play a pivotal role within a client team based in Manhattan, New York. This position will involve supporting enterprise-level application implementations, managing migrations from legacy systems, and providing expert troubleshooting.
What you will do
- Support enterprise-level application implementations, including programming, testing, commissioning, and project completion activities.
- Provide remote support and expert advice for break-fix events across client sites in the UK, Ireland, EMEA, and APAC regions.
- Oversee and manage the service and maintenance of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and break-fix requirements, integrating these responsibilities into BAU operations.
- Participate in the RFC Change Control process to support PPM and break-fix activities.
- Supervise documentation for the commissioning process and ensure final sign-off.
- Manage and maintain commissioning folders for each project, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Occasionally travel within the UK and Central Europe to support critical security infrastructure projects or to resolve urgent break-fix issues.
- Oversee system configuration of C?Cure and Victor servers for adding or modifying installations.
- Process system administration, providing robust triage through a 24 / 7 Command Centre and managing vendor engineer resolution.
- Monitor technical bulletins and liaise with support functions to manage known issues and provide mitigation recommendations.
- Ensure system projects are completed from requirements gathering to deployment within agreed deadlines and budgets, escalating issues per internal policy.
- Act as the main point of escalation technically and operationally.
- Collaborate in a multidisciplinary global team.
- Prepare accurate weekly incident, downtime, and business impact reports across all platforms.
- Provide communication within the group and participate actively in meetings.
- Continuously ensure practices, policies, strategy, and services represent the clients and companys best interests.
