Job Description

Tax Manager - Immediate Opening!

Public accounting firm in the Chicago Metro area (based in Warrenville, IL) that is looking to add an experienced Tax Manager to their team right away!

About the Firm : This is a smaller, close-knit firm that truly values its employees, fosters a great culture, and is dedicated to providing top-quality service to their clients. If you’re looking for a role where you can grow professionally and make a meaningful impact, this could be the perfect opportunity!

What We’re Looking For :

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a CPA firm working with small businesses.
  • Licensed (or soon-to-be) CPA or EA .
  • Strong background in preparing tax returns and compiling financial statements.
  • Familiarity with payroll taxes and filings .
  • Proficient in QuickBooks and MS Office .
  • Experience with Creative Solutions Software (UltraTax, ACS, Fixed Assets, Practice) is a huge plus, but not required.
  • Excellent communication and client service skills.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide exceptional personal service to a dedicated section of clients.
  • Interact frequently with clients and manage workflow efficiently throughout the year.
  • Supervise and review compiled financial statements.
  • Prepare and review tax filings while offering clients ongoing tax planning.
  • Serve as the primary contact for long-standing clients.
