HVAC Product Specialist Reports To :

  • Director of Midea brands | Travel Requirement : Up to 50% About the Role Famous is seeking a passionate and relationship-driven Tech Support Specialist to represent our Midea ductless solutions across the Ohio market.
  • This role is ideal for someone who enjoys educating dealers, building strong partnerships, and collaborating with the sales team to grow brand awareness and market share.
  • As the face of Midea ductless you will work closely with distributors, contractors, and dealers — leading training sessions, providing technical expertise, and helping partners succeed with Midea products.
  • Your efforts will play a key role in establishing Midea as the preferred HVAC ductless solution across the Ohio Market.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Educate & Train – Deliver engaging product presentations, demonstrations, and technical training to dealers, contractors, and distributor teams.
  • Relationship Building – Develop and maintain trusted relationships with key customers and partners through regular communication and on-site visits.
  • Collaborate with Sales – Work hand-in-hand with the sales team to identify growth opportunities and support strategic initiatives.
  • Support in the Field – Assist contractors with system selections, jobsite consultations, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Brand Growth – Promote Midea products, increase market share, and help build Midea’s reputation as a leading HVAC brand.
  • Performance Focus – Support the team in meeting and exceeding growth targets.

Qualifications

  • Experience :
  • 3+ years in HVAC technical support, sales, or product training (preferred).
  • Technical Knowledge : Strong understanding of unitary and mini-split systems.
  • Communication Skills : Excellent presenter and communicator who enjoys educating others.
  • Relationship Builder : Skilled at connecting with customers and creating long-term partnerships.
  • Team-Oriented : Works well with a collaborative sales team to achieve common goals.
  • Self Starter : Ability to work independently while reporting to a remote director
