Observability org of OCI is on a continued mission of delivering a world-class Integrated Observability and Management platform for our customers, that can work seamlessly across OCI, other clouds, and on-premises to provide a uniform view. Our integrated Observability and Management platform combines Logging, Monitoring, Auditing, SIEM, Events, and other services. OCI Logging and Events platform gives customers visibility into into their cloud resources with application logs, audit logs, service logs, events, etc. We will continue to innovate on each of these services to make them feature-rich world-class services and provide meaningful insights into customer's resources and data! We are seeking a Senior Manager / Director who will lead an exceptionally talented team of Software Engineers to elevate the this platform into the best and most reliable in the modern cloud environment by adding features and scale.

• Responsibilities
• Own a high scale, massively distributed cloud scale service handling billons of transactions and PBs of data.
• Ensure high availability and operational posture of your service
• Provide leadership, direction and strategy for a team of excellent senior engineers
• Manage and deliver on a large portfolio of key OCI initiatives with a special emphasis on Logging services in Observability Platform
• Develop a prioritized roadmap of products, features and engineering asks. Drive the delivery of roadmap commitments on time with high quality
• Work closely with a variety of stakeholders (other OCI teams, Oracle Corp teams, product management) to ensure cross-organizational dependencies are managed effectively
• Provide regular updates to executive management
• Monitor the health of the services in the OCI fleet and drive solutions to problems before they impact Cloud capacity and availability

US : Hiring Range in USD from : $118,300 to $251,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off : Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
