Nurse Practitioner

Nurse Practitioner physician employment in Hawaii : The Queens Health System is seeking an experienced Stroke APRN with prior experience working in a Comprehensive Stroke Center and Level 1 Trauma Center to join its team in Honolulu, Hawaii. Ideal candidates will be comfortable with Independent Patient Assessments, the ability to formulate a plan of care with minimal attending oversight managing acute stroke codes, post day 1 stroke patients, as well as have some experience reviewing basic neurological imaging. This is an opportunity to practice top-of-license at a Comprehensive Stroke Center and Level 1 Trauma Center serving patients throughout the state of Hawaii.

• Full-time position with no call responsibilities
• Schedule includes six 13-hour shifts every two weeks
• Group open to shifts either rotating 50 / 50 between days and nights or nights-only
• Familiarity with Independent Patient Assessments required
• Experience with basic neurological imaging is preferred
• Seeking either ACNP or AGACNP board certification
