Acute Rehab RN Ottumwa, IA Permanent Role

The Acute Rehab RN provides specialized nursing care to patients undergoing intensive rehabilitation following illness, injury, or surgery on an acute rehab unit.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and manage patients with complex rehab needs.
• Administer medications and treatments and assist with mobility and ADLs.
• Collaborate with therapists and physicians on interdisciplinary care plans.
• Educate patients and families on rehab goals and safety.
• Document care and progress toward functional outcomes.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program.
• Current BCLS.
• Current Iowa RN license or compact license.
• Junior level experience accepted.
