Medical Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Medical Assistant to join our client’s medical team in Fresno, CA! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both front and back-office operations, with a focus on excellent patient care and communication skills. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in our medical practice, interacting directly with patients and ensuring a positive experience. This position requires motivation, dedication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM
• Pay Rate: $21.00/HR

Responsibilities:

• Make outgoing calls to schedule appointments and confirm schedules with patients.
• Answer inbound calls and provide assistance to patients with inquiries.
• Collect co-pays from patients and verify insurance eligibility.
• Utilize Microsoft Outlook and Excel for efficient organization and management of tasks.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Collaborate with team members and medical professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
• Handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality and professionalism.
• Work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Medical Assistant Certification is required.
• Current BLS Certificate
• Minimum of 2 years of front and back-office experience in a medical setting.
• Strong communication skills and confidence in speaking on the phone.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Outlook and Excel for scheduling and organization.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle a high volume of calls and patient interactions.
• Additional medical documentation may be required for submission.
