About the Role

As a core member of the App Matrix strategic team, you will lead the 0-to-1 development of next-generation mobile products. You will ensure the extreme performance and scalability of NewsBreaks flagship app and architect new product lines from scratch. We are looking for a builder who is obsessed with performance and can translate technical excellence into significant business impact.

Responsibilities

• Architectural Leadership: Independently lead App-level architectural design and build scalable, maintainable Android systems from 0 to 1.
• UI/UX Excellence: Master Android internals to optimize UI development and solve complex rendering and interaction challenges.
• Technical Breakthroughs: Utilize advanced debugging tools and methodologies to solve complex production issues and conduct technical research on stubborn bugs.
• Execution & Drive: Drive project and technical evolution with high proactivity; collaborate across functions to ensure high-quality delivery of business objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree or above; 3+ years of professional Android development experience.
• Expert-level knowledge of Android OS characteristics and internals; proficient in UI development and underlying principles of UI components.
• Extensive experience in Android client development and app-level architecture design.
• Proficient in Android debugging tools and methodologies; strong analytical skills for tackling complex technical problems.
• High work passion and self-motivation; strong project drive and execution; excellent team player.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is listed below. Pay may vary based on a number of factors including job-related skills, level, experience, geographic location and relevant education or training.
