Sunday – Thursday - 11:300pm – 8:00am
$17.25/hr to start, eligible for raise and benefits once hired on.
Must be willing to submit to a background check and pass a drug test.
Must have reliable transportation to and from work (not on bus line).
Training may take place on 1st shift for a few weeks before transitioning to 3rd Shift.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented 3rd Shift Machine Tender to join a dynamic team in Berea, OH. As a Machine Tender, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our machinery during the 3rd shift. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, the capacity to learn from experienced machine tenders, and the ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Machine Operation: Monitor machinery to ensure smooth production processes. Recognize defects and address them as necessary by alerting the set-up operator to maintain product quality and machine performance.
- Maintenance: Report any major issues to Machine Set-up personnel.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished products for quality and conformity to specifications. Identify and address any defects or irregularities promptly.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures. Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of machine performance, production output, and any incidents or maintenance activities. Report any anomalies or issues to the shift supervisor.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members and supervisors to ensure seamless production processes. Communicate effectively to address any issues or changes in production schedules.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Technical or vocational training in machinery or manufacturing is a plus.
- Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing or machine operation role is preferred. Experience with specific types of machinery is advantageous.
- Skills: Basic knowledge of machine operation. Ability to read and interpret job orders. Able to be trained to perform the job as required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Manual dexterity and the ability to perform repetitive tasks.
- Personal Attributes: Attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong work ethic and reliability.
