Heavy Civil Construction Supervisor

We are on the lookout for a dedicated Heavy Civil Construction Supervisor to oversee and manage field operations on heavy civil projects. If you are passionate about working in a dynamic environment and have a solid background in supervising teams involved in grading, excavation, underground utilities, and concrete or roadway work, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate field crews to ensure that work is conducted safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.
• Plan daily activities, assign labor and equipment, and ensure compliance with schedules.
• Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain effective communication with Project Managers, Superintendents, and subcontractors.
• Monitor quality control and enforce safety standards at the job site.
• Track materials, equipment usage, and prepare daily progress reports.
• Identify and troubleshoot field issues, providing practical and cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in heavy civil construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• In-depth knowledge of earthwork, grading, utilities, and/or concrete structures.
• Ability to lead and motivate field teams while maximizing productivity and morale.
• Strong understanding of construction plans, specifications, and job costing.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
