Medical Malpractice Litigation Paralegal

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a reputable law firm to hire an experienced medical malpractice litigation paralegal. This full-time role is ideal for a detail oriented professional who thrives in a fast paced litigation environment and is comfortable supporting complex medical based legal matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist attorneys in all phases of medical malpractice litigation
• Gather, review, and summarize medical records and billing information
• Draft and prepare legal documents including pleadings, discovery responses, subpoenas, chronologies, and deposition summaries
• Coordinate with medical experts, including scheduling, document production, and communications
• Manage case files, organize evidence, and maintain databases
• Prepare trial notebooks, exhibits, and witness materials
• File documents with state and federal courts, and monitor court deadlines
• Communicate with clients, medical providers, opposing counsel, and internal teams
• Support attorneys during depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in medical malpractice
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, records, and healthcare documentation
• Experience reviewing and summarizing medical records required
• Familiarity with state and federal litigation procedures
• Proficiency with legal practice software, e-filing systems, and Microsoft Office
• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a legal team

Benefits:

Additionally, you may be eligible for paid leave including Paid Sick Leave or other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law, as well as Holiday pay where applicable. Bonus eligibility and amount are based upon company and/or individual performance.

Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
