Project Engineer - Mechanical Analysis & CAD
- Mechanical Engineering degree and 3+ years of design experience with expertise in SolidWorks, FEA, and dynamic analysis are required
- 2+ years of experience with PDM and ERP systems are also required
- Pay is up to $92,000, with full benefits
- No remote work as this is an on-site position
- Full-time, permanent, salaried W-2 position

The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate will include the following:
- Conceptualize unique and complex vertical lifting solutions and create detailed mechanical product designs using 3D CADD software
- Apply expertise in structural steel design, hydraulics, and power transmission to develop practical and effective solutions
- Conduct mechanical analysis, including FEA and dynamic analysis, to ensure designs meet all customer and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with a small project group to contribute innovative ideas and technical expertise for complex projects
- Convert verbal and written customer information into precise, high-quality engineering drawings and models
The background of the successful candidate must include the following to be considered for this position:
- A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- 3+ years of mechanical design experience in a fabrication, heavy equipment, or related manufacturing environment
- 3+ years of experience with SolidWorks, FEA, and dynamic analysis software
- 2+ years of experience utilizing PDM and ERP systems
- A strong understanding of hydraulic power systems, structural steel design, and mechanical power transmission
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- A solid work history
- A US citizen or possess a green card
