We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fiber Installation Technician to join our telecommunications team. You will be a part of a two-man crew that is installing underground fiber in local markets. This is a great opportunity to have steady work, a great paycheck, and an amazing team to work with.

We will train the right applicants - no experience required

This is a contract / 1099 position that pays based on the number of feet installed. The opportunity can pay up to $400+ per day!

Responsibilities :

  • Load and unload fiber optic cable reels onto a Larson trailer
  • Place / pull the fiber through the conduit utilizing the trailer
  • Confirm the fiber is installed properly according to industry standards
  • Confirm the mule tape is tied onto the fiber properly
  • Seal the knots with electrical tape to ensure the tape is secure

Qualifications :

  • A minimum of 1 year of fiber pulling experience is preferred
  • Must have a pickup truck capable of pulling a fiber trailer
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve system issues effectively.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 70 lbs frequently throughout the day
