Overview

CTG is seeking to fill an Application Developer - Open Source position for our client.

Location : Bellevue, WA

Duration : 6 months

Duties :

Develop, support, and maintain applications using open source development platforms, including C, C++, Perl, Python, Node.js, and Django.

Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues related to open source applications.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize solutions.

Provide technical guidance and support to clients regarding open source platform implementation, customization, and integration.

Participate in code reviews, ensure adherence to best practices, and maintain documentation of development processes.

Skills :

Strong programming experience with open source technologies such as C, C++, Perl, Python, Node.js, and Django.

Proficiency in application design, development, and troubleshooting within open source environments.

Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.

Ability to analyze complex technical problems and implement effective solutions.

Excellent collaboration, communication, and documentation skills.

Experience :

Proven experience developing and maintaining applications using open source technologies.

Hands-on experience in integrating open source solutions with existing enterprise systems.

Experience providing technical guidance or mentoring to peers or clients is preferred.

Education :

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $50.00 to $120.00 / hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
