Shipping & Receiving Supervisor

• Prioritize pick-ups and shipments based on information received from NetSuite ERP system emails Production Sales and Management shifting priorities based on customer demand.
• Communicate daily shipping schedule to Sales and management.
• Act as first line supervisor for Shipping Department lead a team of drivers material handlers and make-ready personnel.
• Utilize NetSuite ERP system and Smartsheet application to schedule and coordinate equipment pick-ups and deliveries.
• Assign available drivers vehicles and outside hot shot freight or courier services to ensure timely pick-ups and on-time deliveries making informed decisions to minimize shipping costs while providing exceptional customer service.
• Fulfill orders in NetSuite ERP system print packing slips prepare paperwork for deliveries and shipments.
• Package equipment and items for proper and safe transportation utilizing available drivers general laborers and make ready personnel as needed.
• Utilize UPS WorldShip and other software to arrange for shipments and pick ups by courier services.
• Pick up or deliver equipment when required.
• Check in equipment for repair relaying information to Production and Sales.
• Assist Buyer as needed to receive equipment and inventory verifying packing slip accuracy notifying Buyer and Plant Manager of any discrepancies.
• Notify Buyer of shipping supply needs maintain an adequate supply of shipping materials.
• Coordinate with shipyards or customers to arrange for pick-ups and deliveries.
• Any other tasks as deemed necessary by management.
