[job_card.job_description]Seeking Mobile Application Developer to develop and enhance the an mobile application. This project involves improving the apps efficiency and functionality to support Montana hunters and anglers including features for license display and digital carcass tag validation. Development & Enhancement : Perform enhancements to the existing mobile app and engage in the development of the new "Explore Montana" (XMT) mobile app. Technical Execution : Execute technical work including the creation of User Interfaces (UI) database design / modification batch jobs reports and queries. System Integration : Work with the API that connects the mobile app to the agencys core Automated Licensing System (ALS). Defect Resolution : Remedying prioritized defects detected during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) performed by FWP staff. Deployment : Coordinate with staff to deploy approved production-ready software into the appropriate environments. Agile Framework : Work within an Agile environment utilizing Scrum and Kanban frameworks for product support and development. Sprint Participation : Mandatory participation in all scrum meetings including daily stand-ups sprint planning reviews and retrospectives. Workflow Management : Tasks and work objectives will be defined prioritized and assigned via GitLab tickets. Source Code : Working source code that is buildable deployable and runnable at the end of every sprint cycle. Documentation : thoroughly documented code changes adhering to FWPs design development and security standards. Functional Components : Fully functional user interfaces queries reporting capabilities and working database tables as required. Any degree / diploma in Computer Science Software Engineering Information Technology or a related field. 3 years of professional experience in mobile application development (iOS Android or Cross-Platform) Proven experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum / Kanban). Any relevant mobile development certifications (e.g. Google Associate Android Developer Apple Certified iOS Developer) are a plus.
